Music is a fundamental part of life. It gives enjoyment, entertainment and can help express things that are unable to be said verbally. The
process of learning a musical instrument is challenging as it develops fine motor skills and engages the mind with new patterns, symbols
and listening focus. It helps to build resilience, patience and confidence as the learner through consistent efforts becomes proficient in their instrument of choice. Learning an instrument also enhances more academic forms of learning as one develops pattern recognition and focus skills in a novel manner.

At C-Sidesound we offer classes for everyone who would like an introduction in music and to learn how to play Piano or Clarinet. Working with Kodaly principals the classes involve rhythm work, singing as well as working on the instrument itself.
